Itinerary Trekking to Alerce Andino National Park
Trek through the Alerce Andino National Park in an adventurous and fun way, trekking in the park that starts the Carretera Austral in the Chilean Patagonia. Ideal for an unforgettable experience!
This tour starts once we pick you up at the hotels located in Puerto Varas, for about 1 hour you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the road until you reach the famous Alerce Andino National Park, a natural park that is part of the Biosphere Reserve Temperate Rainforests of the Southern Andes and is located just 50km from Puerto Montt.
Once in the park and after a brief introductory talk you will be ready to choose the trail that best suits your physical conditions, you can go to the Alerce Milenario with 4.5 km from the start, or to the Laguna Chaiquenes with a distance of 6 km.
During the hike you will be able to observe different species of native trees and fauna of the region, you will also have time to enjoy a delicious snack. After finishing the trek we return back to the hotel.

- Dress code and recommendations: We recommend you to bring warm clothes, waterproof clothes, trekking shoes, sunglasses, sun block, water, food, hat and gloves for the cold.
