In the Reserve Park is the Magical Circuit of Waters that has 13 impressive cybernetic fourntains. They have the characteristic of providing a spectacular show mixed with sounds, laser lights and music that made it the winner of the Guinness Prize as the world's highest network of fountains in a public park. A highly recommended activity is to stroll along the Malecón (esplanade) of Miraflores, either on foot or by bicycle. You will be able to appreciate the beautiful views of green areas, modern buildings, numerous beaches and cliffs. Along this route is the Parque del Amor (Love Park) and, next to it, the Raimondi Park where the famous paragliding flights take place. A few blocks further and you will see the famous Salazar Park, which it is located on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific, and the Larcomar Shopping Center that has a food court, entertainment, restaurants and shops of clothing brands recognized worldwide. Not to mention the tremendous view of the sunset facing the sea! The sight of the Pacific from the viewpoint that is on the cliffs on the right side, is the Lighthouse and the paragliders. On the left side, the lights of the most representative restaurant in Lima, La Rosa Náutica, built on the pier and which, as it grows dark, seems to float on the sea, can be seen. Not everything is city and beaches in Miraflores. We had archaeological ruins before the Incas, such as th Huaca Pucllana, important ceremonial center of the Lima Culture. It is a 25-meter high pyramidical building. It has a set of patios, plazas and enclosures. It is currently a Research Center, with tourist interest and educational actions throughout the year. They are located on the General Burgundy 8 street and have two schedules, a daily schedule and a night one. A fact to consider: for security reasons, the night tour does not include a visit to the top of the pyramid. Barranco is considered the bohemian neighborhood of Lima. It is a place visited by lovers of culture, art and nightlife. Here you can stroll along the Bridge of Sighs, whose name derives from the innumerable colonial romances that began at this picturesque place. An ancient tradition says that the first time you cross this bridge you must make a wish and in order for it to be fulfilled you must hold your breath until you reach the other end, do you want to try? Another must-see in Lima is the Bajada de Baños boardwalk in Barranco. Originally it was a ravine used by fishermen and locals to reach the sea. At the beginning of the 19th century picturesque and beautiful mansions and large houses were built there, and some of them were converted into museums and restaurants, making this trip a tour with a beautiful view and places to enjoy. Upon reaching the boardwalk you can enjoy a spectacular view of the sea or see it from the many bars and restaurants that are within the area. Some unmissable places to eat and have a good time are: My third place, where they sell exquisite, mastodon sized and well-priced menus! At night it is a very lively and fun craft beer bar. El Chinito, here you will taste the best chicharrón (pork rind) sandwich, impressive pork ribs, and unmatched tamales. The Chami Corner, their specialty is Creole food, the price is a little higher but it's worth it. Very good service and delicious. Tostado Café, you will be delighted with culinary specialties and very good service in a family and cozy atmosphere.Written by: Jessica Molla, Peruvian-Argentine audio visual communicator, passionate about cinema and Spanish writer for Daytours4u.
