Buenos Aires
One of the new products in the BsAs4u catalogue is the Panoramic Sailing Trip on Rio de la Plata. This tour is perfect for sunny afternoons and for those who want to view the city Buenos Aires in a unique way from a modern, comfortable sailing boat. At around 13:30 you'll be met in the neighbourhood Puerto Madero, one of the most modern and luxurious places in the city, full of mirrored buildings, bank headquarters and large companies. This is where you'll begin your tour in the Humberto M. ship. Lunch will be served at the bottom of the boat while it is still moored, but why not go for a refreshing drink beforehand up at the top, where there are tables and chairs in the shade and out in the open. From here, you can see the impressive buildings in Puerto Madero, and the port to the other side, where the famous Buquebus transports passengers across to Uruguay. Lunch consists of three courses (starter, main course and dessert) and you will have the choice of three options for each dish. For the main course the options are seafood, chicken, or pasta and your choice of drink (these are not included). All passengers will be directed to their respective tables once they arrive at the dining hall. The dining hall has windows on all sides, giving you the opportunity to enjoy lunch with a view. The boat will begin moving shortly after the food is served, though you shouldn't worry as the motion is smooth, so you'll be able to eat your meal peacefully. As the boat starts to move, information about your surroundings will be narrated in three languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese, and you'll learn about the port, the reformation of the buildings that can be observed and the Buenos Aires Yacht Club, amongst others. Along the way, you'll see the dikes of the port of Buenos Aires, several types of boat, and the Buenos Aires Ecological Reserve. Gradually the view changes from boats, factories and buildings to the skyline of the city, nothing more. By this time you will have no doubt finished lunch and our advice would be to take your dessert up to the top of the boat, where you can relax and enjoy the view, which runs along the shore all the way from Puerto Madero to Ciudad Universitaria. Overall, the Panoramic Sailing Trip on Rio de la Plata is a very pleasant experience, one which we'd recommend for families, couples, groups of friends and anyone else that wants to relax upon the waters of Rio de la Plata with a unique view over the city of Buenos Aires.
