• Proper Holding: When receiving the mate, it's essential to grasp it with the hand not occupied by the bombilla. This gesture signifies respect for both the cebador and the tradition.
• Avoid Handling the Bombilla: Touching the bombilla is considered impolite. If adjustments are necessary, it's best to request the cebador's assistance.

While these etiquette rules may exhibit slight regional and familial variations in Argentina, the mate, in general, serves as a social connector, fostering friendships and facilitating engaging conversations.
