/ source[/caption] In the artistic part of the festival, you can check out 20 wall paintings by Rio graffiti artists, at the Nossa Senhora da Paz square in Ipanema, on Carioca square (Largo de Carioca) and at the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas. Also, there are concerts on August 23rd (6pm) in Rio’s city centre, on the 24th (7pm) in the General Santander park in Barra da Tijuca and on 25th of August, there is a concert on General Osório square (Ipanema – 7pm).From August 17 to 27 some of Brasil’s greatest chefs will visit different sites throughout Rio de Janeiro in a big truck, with a capacity for 50 people at a first-come first-serve principle, offering cooking workshops and exclusive tasting of the chef’s great dishes. The Truck Cuisine Show (link in pt) will ride across the city through different areas of Rio de Janeiro. The event will also visit other cities outside Rio de Janeiro, such as Búzios and Itaipava. The kiosks are located in: Nelson Mandela st. close to Botafogo Metro Station; General Osório Square in Ipanema; Afonso Pena (Tijuca); Praça Seca in the west zone, Jacarepaguá; Carioca Square in the centre of Rio and Parque dos Patins at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, next to the Piraquê Club.
