Being at the End of the World is an experience in itself as there is plenty to see and do in Ushuaia. With so much beautiful scenery and wildlife around the city, travellers should make outdoor activities a priority. One of the best ways to do this is with the guided Tierra del Fuego National Park Tour. This activity in Ushuaia opens a door to discover the vastness of nature in Southern Patagonia. The tour starts with a pick-up from hotels in Ushuaia, before heading southwest to the National Park on National Route 3. While the guide gives you details of the itinerary, you can enjoy the scenery and the beautiful view of the mountains around Ushuaia, from the warmth of the bus (no matter the season, it's always cold this far south in Argentina). After a short drive of 11kms, you'll reach the foot of Mount Susana and the entrance to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. This is also where you'll find the central station of the Southern Fuegian Railway (Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino), or End of the World Train, as it is more commonly called.
