Itinerary
Baltra Island, also known as Seymour Sur, is located 27 km north of Santa Cruz Island. The main airport of the Galapagos Islands is located here and is the only ecological airport in the world developed by Argentine architects.
The journey from Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island to Baltra Airport takes approximately 45 minutes. Our guide will pick you up at the hotel, to transfer you to the Itabaca Canal, where you must take a public service ferry and cross to Baltra Island. There you will take a bus from the airline of your choice, which will take you to the airport.
During the route to the airport, you will make a brief stop at “Los Gemelos” craters, crater holes formed by the collapse or sinking of materials, surrounded by a forest of scalesias. You'll love it!
