Itinerary
Famous for being the place where French and English pirates used to land when they failed to reach Paraty, Trindade Cove today is a lovely breath of fresh air, a place to connect with nature and swim in the rock pools and beaches.
This Tour to Trindade Cove begins with a 40-minute ride in an executive vehicle to Villa de Trindade, in the company of expert guides who will join you for the duration of the walk to inform you about the ecology and culture of the Caiçara region. After arriving, you will stop first at Cepilho Beach, the favourite surfing beach, to take some pictures before moving up to Rancho Beach, where you will find a village of native fisherman, surrounded by rocks that form natural sculptures. Before stopping in this place, you are going to visit Praia do Meio, or Meio Beach, a charming place and ideal spot to swim in the sea. From this point the enthusiastic may choose to do a 30-minute walk along a path through the jungle of the Atlantic Forest to get to the Caixa D’are Natural Pool. You can relax here in a sea pool formed naturally by the surrounding rocks. Get the chance to snorkel and spot a variety of coloured fish. After spending a pleasant time on the beach, in the sea and on the rocks, those who wish may head to the restaurant for lunch (optional). Finally the guides will lead you back to the car and you’ll return to Paraty.

- Children policy: Children up to 5 years old do not pay. From 6 to 10 they pay 50% of the value and from 11 years on, they pay the total cost of the tour.
- Transfer policy: All tours in Paraty begin from the city of Paraty. If you are in Rio de Janeiro or Angra Dos Reis and want to do one of these activities, you can book a transfer between Rio, Angra and Paraty.
- Special date alert: Please note that this tour has a different price if you are booking on special dates that coincide with Carnival or other significant events across the city.
- Not included: Lunch service is optional with an extra cost. It is at a typical fisherman’s restaurant facing the sea.
- Optional tour: There is the option of taking the boat from Meio Beach to access the Caixo D’aro Natural Pool without having to walk. This cost is not included.
- Dress code & recommendations: Don´t forget to bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, towel, bathing suit and camera.
