Tour to Serra da Cantareira in São Paulo

Enjoy a spectacular day at Serra da Cantareira in São Paulo and visit the "Núcleo Engordador", one of the 5 Centers that allow the visit of tourists. At the site you will visit the Interpretation Center of fauna and flora of the region, we will walk the Macuco Trail and the Cachoeira Trail and visit the Casa da Bomba and Dam complex, which were part of the first water supply system of the city of São Paulo.

We start our activity with a visit to the Fauna and Flora Interpretation Center to familiarize ourselves with the Serra da Cantareira and learn a little more about the species of fauna and flora that we can see during the tour.

Our tour guide will pass some safety and driving instructions during the hike and we will start with the Macuco Trail, of approximately 1 km, where we will observe some species of fauna and flora of the region.

Then we will continue to the Cachoeira Trail, approximately 4 km, where we will cross the Engordador River at different points with stops for photos and the possibility of bathing in 2 different waterfalls, Cachoeira do Engordador and Cachoeira Véu da Noiva.

After returning from the hikes, we visited the viewpoint of the dam and the Casa da Bomba complex, an old water supply system in the city of São Paulo where we ended the tour.
