Description

Taking the Huilo Huilo Tour allows you to travel part of the route of the Seven Lakes that links Chile with Argentina through the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve, one of the biggest attractions of the south in the middle of the Patagonian Andes.

At 8 am you will leave from your lodging in Pucón, bordering Lake Villarrica towards the town of Lican Ray where you will meet Lake Calafquen, of glacial origin. In only 50 minutes you will have known two of the most beautiful lakes in southern Chile. Continuing with the excursion towards Lake Panguipulli, you will have one of the first stops on the waterfront where you will be able to contemplate the square and the beautiful architecture of the cathedral. A bilingual guide will explain the attractions of the area and you will learn interesting stories from locals.

The tour continues bordering Lake Panguipulli (where there will be a brief stop at a strategic place to take pictures with spectacular views), and you will arrive at Huilo Huilo Reserve, the most important biological reserve in southern Chile with 40,000 hectares. There you will be able to contemplate its spectacular waterfalls, rivers and its native and leafy forest. Within the same reserve and as you leave an unknown kingdom, in the middle of the temperate rainforest, you will discover the Nothofagus and La Montaña Mágica hotels. Then there will be time to rest and recharge your batteries in a visit to the restaurants in Puerto Fuy, where in addition to lunch (food is not included) you will be able to see Lake Pirihueico with a beautiful view of the Mocho-Choshuenco Volcano.

The tour ends at the "Memorial of the Volcanoes" museum which exhibits the history of the native peoples of Chile and then begins the return to Pucón with a stop at the brewery Petermann.

This full-day tour is characterized by a large number of places to visit, including part of the well known Seven Lakes route. Don't think twice, book the Huilo Huilo Huilo Tour now and make the most of your trip to southern Chile!
