The Rio hiking tour will start by strolling along a pedestrian path next to the beautiful shoreline. You will then hike for 20 minutes up the rocky mountain slope, a wonderful viewpoint of Guanabara Bay and the city of Niteroi. At this point, the professional guides will provide you with instructions and climbing gear to face an 80 ft (25 meters) rock climb for 30 minutes which is perfect for beginners to get a taste for the sport. You will always be supported by your professional, bilingual climbing instructor who will provide you with all the necessary safety instructions.
After your climb, the Rio de Janeiro hiking tour will follow a rocky trail to reach the top of the mountain which will take approximately 40 minutes. The reward for your accomplishment is to enjoy one of the best-uninterrupted views of Rio followed by relaxing at the snack bar and enjoying the view further. On the way down you will take the cable car to Urca Hill and hike down a forest trail for 30 minutes back to sea level.
