• The 14 samba schools, called special groups, are divided into two days of parades: Sunday and Monday, 7 each day, ending the parade, with the champion of the previous year. The parade starts at 8 pm, ending around 6 am. 

The presentations are interesting because they tell stories, folklore, their musical entanglements, rhythms of dances, extravagant fantasies, and their allegorical floats that narrate stories through the samba entanglement, according to the allegories. 

• The schools have 3,500 members, including drummers.
