Natural Beauties Brazil: Sea and Rainforest

Day 1: Welcome to Rio de Janeiro

Once you arrive at Rio de Janeiro's international airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to do whatever you prefer, either relaxing at your hotel or exploring the city.

Day 2: City Tour in Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel and take you on a city tour of Rio. In a full day excursion, you will get to know the most emblematic of this city that perfectly combines the urban with the nature that surrounds it. 

This City Tour in Rio de Janeiro begins with the Christ the Redeemer, located at the top of the Corcovado Hill, 710 meters above sea level, is one of the most visited tourist sites in the city, and was also recently named one of the Wonders of the Modern World. From the top, the view is paradisiacal, as we can see several beaches, the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, the Maracana stadium, the city center and the north, among other places.

• The climb to the top can be done by van or by the historic train.

This is an ecological tour, since this area is part of the Tijuca Forest National Park, considered the largest urban forest in the world.

We will go to the city center to visit its main attractions. We will also visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain, and then return to the selected hotels.

Day 3: Free day in Rio de Janeiro.

During this day you can enjoy Rio de Janeiro as you prefer. Daytours4u suggests the optional jeep excursion to the Tijuca Rainforest and Botanical Garden.

Day 4: Departure to Búzios

We will pick you up at your hotel in Rio de Janeiro and take you to Búzios.

Day 5: Snorkeling tour in Búzios

On this day you will get to know Buzios with an excursion full of adventures. From the hotels we will depart and go to Armação beach, in the center, from where the boats leave. There, we will board a schooner, equipped with all the comforts to enjoy the ride. During this boat ride you will be offered seasonal fruits, mineral water and soft drinks.

• The beaches of this excursion will be: Armação, Bones, Azedinha, João Fernandes, João Fernandinho, Branca, Ugly, Turtle, Virgens, Amores and do Canto, and the Caboclo, White and Ugly islands. 

We will stop at Azeda, Azedinha, Ilha Feia and Tartaruga beaches, approximately 20 minutes each, for swimming and snorkeling (the crew will provide the necessary equipment). 

This tour of the beaches of Búzios ends when you are dropped off back at the hotel to rest. 

Day 6: Free day in Búzios 

During this day you can enjoy the city at your leisure on this free day in Búzios. We suggest an optional tour to Arraial do Cabo.

Day 7: Departure to Manaus

We will pick you up at your hotels in the city of Búzios and transfer you to the airport to catch your flight on time.

Upon arrival in Manaus, we will take you to your reserved hotel and then you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 8: Manaus Tour with pink dolphins in the amazon

From our hotels in Manaus we will depart to the dock of the Tropical Hotel, where we will embark by boat to Lake Acajatuba or Ariau Creek. 

On this day you will meet the curious freshwater pink dolphins of the Amazon and have the opportunity to feed them.

This is undoubtedly a unique and unforgettable experience, as you will be able to get in direct contact with these animals and learn more about the ecosystem where they live. 

Freshwater dolphins are very special because they are considered the most intelligent of all dolphin species, they are friendly and social creatures that have lived for centuries in the Amazon.

During the return trip we will enjoy the beautiful scenery that accompanies the banks as they navigate the Amazon River, also with the opportunity to see some species of birds and other animals.

The excursion ends by taking you back to your hotels in Manaus.

Day 9: Free day in Manaus

Free day to explore Manaus. Daytours4u suggests as optional the Water Encounter Tour.

Day 10: Departure to Bonito

We will pick you up at your hotels in Manaus to take you to the airport for your flight to Campo Grande.

Once in Campo Grande, we will transfer you to your hotels in Bonito and then you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 11: Snorkeling in the Prata River

After stopping by your hotel in downtown Bonito, we will go on an ecological adventure. At 56 km (35 miles) from the city center, we will take a 50-minute walk through a beautiful forest surrounded by virgin flora that coexists in harmony with birds and other wildlife.

Upon arrival at the snorkeling site, you will swim in this river and contemplate the natural beauty before your eyes. You will float peacefully in a huge aquarium with crystal clear water. You will experience a unique sensation as you swim through plants and animals underwater.

The visit continues at the Olho D`água spring, to see a spectacular visual effect at the bottom of the river. After snorkeling, you have the option to have lunch at the reception restaurant (not included in this itinerary).

At noon we will return to the hotel so you can rest or enjoy a free afternoon. 

Day 12: Free day in Bonito

Free day to explore the city. Daytours4u suggests the optional tour to Boca da Onça.

Day 13: Departure to Foz do Iguaçu

We will pick you up at your hotel in Bonito to take you to the airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu.

Once in Foz do Iguaçu, we will drop you off at your selected hotel and then you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city or relax and unwind.

Day 14: Foz do Iguaçu: Brazilian Waterfalls

After arriving at the Visitor's Center, we will start our tour of the park and drive in one of the tourist cars to the main roads that extend more than 1,200 m into the park and sit on the Iguazu River. From here, you will get a panoramic view of the Argentinean side of the falls, the perfect place to take the best pictures.

• The Brazilian side of Iguazu National Park is home to incredible waterfalls and extends over almost half a million acres.

Continuing along this route, you will see the Iguazu River Canyon, Salto Rivadavia, Tres Mosqueteros and many others. Towards the end of the route, you will also see the lower part of the river and the impressive Devil`s Gorge. The walkway ends next to the Floriano Falls, from where you can take a series of stairs or the elevator to the parking lot, stores and restaurants.

Day 15: Foz do Iguaçu: Argentine Waterfalls

The group continues in the direction of the Argentine Falls, crossing the border between Brazil and Argentina over the Tancredo Neves Bridge, which was built over the Iguaçu River. This tour aims to explore one of the foreign sides of the imposing Falls, one of the most famous Natural Wonders in the world.

• The remarkable thing about this part of the itinerary is that most visitors know one side of the Falls, here you have the possibility to see it in its entirety, and know the falls of these two countries. 

The Argentinean Park of the Falls has a huge area to be exploited by visitors. There are more than 55 thousand hectares of land with diverse natural beauties that enchant all those who visit them. From this side it is possible to get as close as possible to the waterfalls, having a unique vision and experience.

The Argentinean Falls have a more complete view of the Devil's Gorge, the fall with the highest flow of the entire region. 

Visitors can also choose to do the upper circuit, with a panoramic view of the waterfalls, or the lower circuit, with walkways that enter through the rainforest and allow direct contact with some of the falls.

Day 16: We say goodbye to Brazil 

After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel to transfer you to the Foz do Iguaçu International Airport.
