Pick-up in Cusco and Journey to Ollantaytambo

The tour begins with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We will head to the train station in Ollantaytambo aboard a tourist bus, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This approximately one and a half hour journey will allow you to enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the region, filled with green mountains and snowy peaks.

 

Train Journey to Aguas Calientes

From Ollantaytambo, you will board the train to the picturesque town of Aguas Calientes. During the journey of about an hour and a half, you can admire the beautiful landscapes surrounding the route, with views of lush vegetation and majestic mountains. This train journey is an experience in itself, offering comfort and unparalleled panoramic views.

 

Arrival at Machu Picchu

Upon arriving at Aguas Calientes, you will take the bus that will lead you to the entrance of the Machu Picchu citadel. You will have initial time to explore part of this impressive archaeological site on your own and take in the first impressions of this historic site declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981.
