Transfer Airport - Hotel: A professional driver will wait for you at the boarding gate of the Ernesto Cortissoz Airport in Barranquilla to take you to your accommodation. After that, you will have the rest of the day free to explore Barranquilla.
1) Battle of Flowers: It is a wonderful opening parade led by the Carnival Queen, King Momo, and a host of fantastic beings. This Battle is a surprising spectacle in which you will be able to appreciate the floats, the dances and the music that characterize the Carnival of Barranquilla.
2) Great Parade of Tradition: It is a contest in which you will be able to see some of the most recognized troupes of the Barranquilla Carnival. They will interpret the dances and the traditional music of the Caribbean region and of the Lower Magdalena, to earn the honor of accompanying the Queen in the next Battle of the Flowers. This is a true feast for your senses and imagination.
