On the Cocoa Route you will visit a cocoa farm and learn about the processes of harvesting, processing and production of this typical Ecuadorian product. Learn how the fruit is planted and harvested, how it is roasted, shelled and its seeds are ground.
In this visit we will make a tour of the cocoa farm where you will be able to collect cocoa pods for the subsequent preparation of a juice and a chocolate cocktail. You will also learn about the other products that are produced in this organic farm such as rice plantations, bananas, tropical fruits, among others.
