Buenos Aires and El Calafate Classic Travel Package

Day 1

Reception and accommodation

Arrival at Buenos Aires International Airport, where we will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free, you can rest and enjoy the hotel services or explore the city on your own.

Day 2

Buenos Aires to El Calafate.

Breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to the airport to take the flight to El Calafate (not included). Upon arrival in El Calafate, transfer to your accommodation. Free day to explore the town on your own.

Day 3

Excursion to Los Glaciares National Park to visit the imposing Perito Moreno Glacier.

The Perito Moreno Glacier Excursion is undoubtedly one of the greatest attractions in Argentina. The tour lasts one day and you will be accompanied by a bilingual guide who will pick you up at the hotel after breakfast to walk together along the wooden trails. Walk along the walkways, visit the balconies located at different levels to appreciate the Perito Moreno Glacier from different angles. During the tour, if you wish, you have the possibility of sailing even closer to this imposing glacier with the optional Safari Nautical excursion offered in this package.

Day 4

Breakfast. Free day to explore so we recommend the Calafate Balcony Tour (optional), where you can be part of the wonderful Patagonian landscape, discover fossils and even get a glimpse of the wonderful condors of the Andes.

This adventure begins with a tour through the wild El Balcón mountain on board of imposing Land Rover 4x4 vehicles, which will allow you to reach incredible panoramic points of the area, located at heights of up to 900 meters above sea level. From the top of El Balcón it is possible to see Lake Argentino, the city of El Calafate and if the weather is clear we will be able to see the Fitz Roy mountains in El Chaltén and the source of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Day 5

Return to Buenos Aires

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to return to Buenos Aires (not included). We will be waiting to take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 6

City Tour and Tango Show

During this tour you will learn a little more about its history, architecture, culture, and some secrets. We will visit the most interesting places in Downtown, such as Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, El Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral, the "aristocratic" North and the popular South with its famous Caminito, in La Boca neighborhood.

In the evening we will provide you with a regular transfer to the Tango Dinner Show in one of the most renowned tango houses in the city.

Day 7

Visit to the north of the city, Tigre and San Isidro.

We will depart from Buenos Aires to this natural scenery, sailing among its islands. We will get to know the life, customs and culture of the islanders. On the way back we will visit San Isidro and learn about its history. On our way back to our hotel we will see the home of the President of the Nation (Quinta de Olivos).

Day 8

Transfer to the airport

After breakfast, we will transfer you from your hotel to take your flight back home. End of our services.
