Day 1: Welcome to Rio

Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your reserved hotel in the city. You will then have the day at leisure to enjoy it as you prefer. 

Rio de Janeiro is a modern and urban city but in perfect harmony with nature. An ideal place for those who want to visit beautiful beaches and parks, without leaving aside the luxury of a large metropolis.

Day 2: City Tour in Rio de Janeiro 

On the second day we will pick you up at your hotel to visit the Corcovado Hill and Christ the Redeemer. This monument is considered one of the seven wonders of the world and is located at the top of Corcovado Hill. 

• It is located in the southern part of Rio, at an altitude of 710 meters above sea level, and is a site visited by everyone that offers a wonderful panoramic view.
• It is also an ecological tour, since Corcovado Hill is located inside the Tijuca Forest National Park, the largest urban forest in the world.

From Christ the Redeemer you will be able to see a paradisiacal landscape, the city, beaches and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. 

The second stop of this City Tour in Rio de Janeiro is at the Maracaña Stadium, where we will stop so you can visit the Maracanã Museum (optional), continue to the famous Carnival Avenue and to the Sambadrome where we will visit the Samba Museum and see the Apoteose Square. 

After lunch at one of the most traditional Churrascaria do Rio, we will visit the Sugar Loaf, located 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Guanabara Bay. 

We will go up to the hill in a glass cable car, which offers a 360º view of the bay, Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo and Flamengo. You will discover one of the most beautiful postcards of the city! 

To end this day we will tour the city center of Rio. We will see its main attractions, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Seláron Staircase, passing by the famous Lapa Arches. After a day of culture, we will return to the hotel.

Day 3: Free day in Rio

This day will be free for you to enjoy as you prefer. Daytours4u recommends an optional jeep ride to the Tijuca Forest and the Botanical Garden.

Day 4: Free Day in Rio

This day will be free for you to enjoy as you prefer. Daytours4u recommends an optional tour of downtown Rio de Janeiro. 

Day 5: Departure to Paraty

We will pick you up from your hotels in Rio de Janeiro and take you to the nearby city of Paraty (located 250 km away) for a 4-hour drive.

Once in Paraty, we will drop you off at your hotels and then you will have the rest of the day free to explore the surroundings. 

Day 6: We tour the Paraty Islands and travel by schooner.

The meeting point on this day is at the Paraty pier. From there we board the schooner, a beautiful wooden boat. 

• This boat has an open deck, which allows you to easily go down to the bathing spots. It also has specialized equipment and all the necessary services for an unforgettable trip. 

We will visit the best beaches and islands and make four stops, each of about 40 minutes, to swim and take pictures in the crystal clear waters or just relax on the deck to enjoy the sun. Some of the beaches we visit are: Lula da Praia, Praia Vermelha, Ilha Comprida, Ilha do Algodão, among others.

Days 7 and 8 : Free days in Paraty

These two days will be free to enjoy them as you prefer. Daytours4u recommends for the seventh day in Paraty an optional visit to Trindade beach, and for the eighth day an optional tour to Serra da Bocaina Waterfalls by jeep.

Day 9: We say goodbye 

After breakfast, we will take you from the hotel to Rio de Janeiro International Airport so that you arrive in time to catch your flight.
